Anna is a Partner in Ironmonger Curtis’ company commercial department, having joined the practice in August 2016 from BRM Solicitors.
After attending University in Nottingham Anna obtained a distinction on the LPC at Nottingham Law School and qualified as a solicitor in 2011. A glutton for punishment, Anna furthered her studies at UCL where she qualified as a Notary Public whilst still working as a solicitor.
Working in the field of company commercial law, Anna advises a whole range of businesses. Dealing in mergers and business acquisitions, corporate re-structuring, shareholder agreements, terms and conditions, distribution agreements and all general corporate and commercial matters and contracts. Anna has represented local start-ups through to national, hundred million pound turnover companies. Clients have praised her for her ability to turn “legal jargon into something they can actually understand”.
Further specialist areas of law where Anna has experience, include advising companies in the healthcare sector and non-contentious construction law.
Anna routinely deals with the sale and purchase of dental practices, completing several each month and is able to provide specialised advice on the transfer of GDS contracts and the CQC process.
On the construction side she deals with JCT contracts and amendments through to warranties and appointments of professionals, contractors and subcontractors. Having advised hotel and residential housing developers.

In her spare time Anna enjoys to travel, spend time with her family and socialise. She’s also a glory supporting Manchester United fan and trying to become an avid skier.
Anna is regulated in her role as Notary through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, independently from her role as a Solicitor.
