Ironmonger Curtis announces continued support for Dronfield RUFC
In October 2017, Sheffield based specialist commercial law firm, Ironmonger Curtis announced a new sponsorship deal with local rugby union side Dronfield RUFC. Fast-forward a year, and the firm is very pleased to announce it has continued and increased its support for the North East Derbyshire club for the 2018/19 season.
Dronfield RUFC is based at Gosforth Fields, an excellent community facility set in Dronfield Woodhouse, between Sheffield and Chesterfield. The club provides rugby for all children from under 7s to under 18s, as well as having three excellent senior teams, with the First XV competing for promotion in Midlands 2 East. New players of all ages, spectators and volunteers are always welcome.
Ironmonger Curtis has close ties with the Dronfield area, acting for a number of clients in the town, having two of its partners living in Dronfield Woodhouse, and with the firm’s Ben Ironmonger being heavily involved with the rugby club both on and off the pitch.
On the continued partnership, Trevor Ironmonger, founder of Ironmonger Curtis, commented: “Ourselves and Dronfield RUFC share a joint commitment to support the communities in which we work, and we’re very pleased to be supporting the club by extending our sponsorship. We’d like to wish all the Dronfield sides the best of luck for the remainder of the season.”
When asked about this latest sponsorship deal, Will Moroney, Director of Rugby at Dronfield RUFC said:
“Grassroots rugby brings huge benefits to both children and adults in many ways, and we’re grateful to receive the continued support from Ironmonger Curtis to help ensure the teams have the funds they need. There is a lot to be gained for businesses of all shapes and sizes in supporting grassroots rugby, and we are actively seeking to increase our links with reputable local firms like Ironmonger Curtis.”
